Cotton
Characteristics
|
• the most diffused vegetable textile fibre in the world, drawn by the capsule of a bushy plant.
|
Female silky clothes Pyjamas, clothes
|
Attire, PIGIAMERIA |
| Notes |
the cotton fibre has a high hygroscopic level ; it is hot- resistant and it has a good physiological adaptability. |
Flax
Characteristics
|
The most ancient and appreciated natural fibre, drawn by the " book " (layer of the bark) of a grassy plant. From the only cultivated textile plant in western Europe, it is drawn through maceration the fibrous part, that confers to the yarn and the fabric particular characteristics: good hygroscopic level, freshness, softness, hardwearing, long-lasting, possibility of washing at high temperatures.
|
Female silky clothes
|
For its comfort and its freshness the flax is suitablesfor clothes, and for the house- laundry and the furnishing.
|
| Notes |
For its particular molecular structure the flax absorbs water up to 20% of the weight without the body warns damp: this caractheristic makes it suitable for the fabrics at contact with the skin. |
Wool
Characteristics
|
The most diffused and important animal fibre that constitutes the fleece of different sheep races. Characteristics: thanks to its particular structure and the strong undulation of the fibres, it has excellent qualities as: high hygroscopic level, strong thermal protection, elasticity, hardwearing and resistance to the flame. |
Female silky clothes
|
In all the texile fields, pure or with other fibres.
|
| Notes |
There are a lot of varieties, classified by fineness, length, color and brightness. |
Acrylic
| Characteristics |
o Fibre made by linear macromolecules primarily constituted by acrilonytrile o Items particularly woolly, soft and warm o High thermal insulation of the items in relationship to the weight Available in different special types with innovative characteristics (microfibre thinner than cashmere, bows flame retardant, that is with primer of flame delayed, fibres already dyed by the producer...) o Easy maintenance and non-shrinking at washing o High resistance to the solar light and the atmospheric agents o Dying in particularly bright colors and in the most delicate tones o Good resistance to creasing o High resistant to mold, mycroorganisms, moths, bugs of any kind o Disponibile as snow, tow, top for wool and cotton spinning, fit to uses either in pure either in mixed with natural fibres or hand made
|
| |
| Hosiery and intimate clothes. |
High voluminosity, neatness of point, non-shrinking Easy at washing without felting, rapid drying Elevated comfort, insulation, traspirability
|
| |
| Notes |
During the washer-washing is betterto reduce the phase of centrifuge at the minimum. The sweater articles must be let dry supported horizontally for a better maintenance of their form, as it happens in the manufactured articles in natural fibres.
|
Poliester
| Characteristics |
Fibre mde by linear macromolecules primarily constituted by polietilentereftalato o It has wash-wears charateristics (the items articles are easily washed, quickly dried, and worn without stretching: they are crease-resistant) o It is suited for all the technologies of transformation, either pure that mixed with natural fibres or hand-made (cotton, wool, flax, viscose..) It is available in numerous special types with innovative characteristics (thinner microfibre of the silk, threads and bows flame retardant, that is with primer of flame delayed, already dyed by the producer...) o It has elevated mechanical characteristics: it is resistant to breakup, to light, to abrasion, it is not deformed in permanent way, it has a good elastic recovery It is indifferent to the microorganisms: it doesn't allow the development of bacteria and mold It is available as a continuous spin and as a snow for wool spinning, cotton and direct uses (nontissue, waddings, stuffings...)
|
| |
Female silky clothes (pyjamas)
|
As above, besides: hand, drapery, silky aspect, agreeability to wearing |
| |
| Notes |
The conditions of maintenance above are not suitable with smeared fabrics, soaked, or however made with particular treatments. When washing at 40°, to get items without creasing, at the end of the washing gradually cool the bath avoiding to centrifuge the warm items. Stretch with your hands the items before hanging them to the door for drying. In the cases of a very strong and located dirt it is necessary to imbue with a good cleanser and to rub with your hand before the washing, as in the normal maintenances of the other fibres.
|
Polyamide
| Characteristics |
o Fibre made by linear macromolecules containing the ammidic group o High mechanical characteristics: it is resistant to breakup, it is not deformed permanently, it has a good elastic recovery o It has the possibility to realize light but strong fabrics o The elastic recovery allows the nylon items not to do unwanted permanent folds o Good resistance to abrasion and stamping o Dying without limitation of tones and possibility to get well resistant shades to light and bad weather o Excellent mixing with other fibres (wool, silk, flax, cotton, viscose) o Easy maintenance o Disponibile in continuous thread and in bow
|
| |
| Female clothes |
Lightness and softness of the items, good traspirability, high brightness. Easy maintenance
|
| |
| Notes |
This situations are not good for the smeared or soaked fabrics for which, in general, you have to exclude the dry-washing, and the possible ironing must be done with a lot of precaution. Manteinance of the moquetteses iwith poliammidic fibre: Cleaning with carpet-sweeper and washing according to the use. Prompt interventions for the elimination of the possible stains of any origin.
|
Prolipopilene
| Characteristics |
o Fibre made by linear macromolecules of polipropilene isotattic o Good resistance to abrasion and hardwearing o Excellent resistance to the chemical agents o Waterproof o Estremly easy at cleaning o Low specific weight o Disponibile in continuous thread and in bow
|
| |
Attire overalls, pajamas, Unshrinkable and crushproof childish attire
|
It maintains a dry skin transferring to the outside the damp of the body It avoids the dispersion of the bodily heat Facility of washing and rapidity of drying Good resistance to the use Lightness of the manufactured articles
|
| |
| Notes |
The maintenance of the hosiery in polipropilenic fibre pure or mixed is very simple: domestic washings to hand or in washer with common cleansers. It is not necessary the dry-washing. For the elimination of the stains use the common solvents at ambient temperature. The ironing is not necessary. For the maintenance of the moquettes in polipropilenica fibre pass a normal carpet-sweeper periodically and wash with the normal foams in commerce. In case of accidental formation of a stain, eliminated the excess of stained substance, intervene with a sponge soaked of water, water and cleanser or a stain remover (ex. trieline).

Rayon - Viscous
| Characteristics |
Thread derived by the cellulose o Mechanics characteristics fit for all the final employments Exceptional comfort for the good ownerships of traspirability, antistatics o Excellent aesthetics characteristics as for silky brightness, drapery o Biodegradability o Adaptability for every type of textile phase from the production of weaver's beam for weaving on every type of loom to the twisting up to torsion crimp o Excellent mixing with other fibres (wool, silk, flax, cotton, acetate, polyamide) o Easy dyeing and press with results to the maximum levels
|
| |
| Attire (negligees) |
Comfort: traspirability, antistatics, not-allegic Aesthetics: hand and silky aspect, brightness, drapery, softness, Great range of colors Wearability
|
| |
| Notes |
Cold-washing, cleansers for delicate garments without shaking neither in the rinse. Dry in plain Bleaching: better to avoid peroxides; better bleaches at base of chlorine. Ironing: preferably with humidifying of the fabric. These indications are valid for manufactured articles 100% viscose
